FEEDING GUIDELINES: The quantity of food your dog requires is dependent upon size, age, activity level and environment. Simply start with our recommendations, adjust as needed
and make sure to always have fresh water available.
DAILY FEEDING RECOMMENDATIONS - ADULT (cup/day):
5 kg (11 lb): Normal Activity: 2/3 cup; High Activity: 3/4 cup
15 kg (33 lb): Normal Activity: 1 2/3 cup; High Activity: 2 cup
25 kg (55 lb): Normal Activity: 2 1/2 cup; High Activity: 2 3/4 cup
35 kg (77 lb): Normal Activity: 3 1/4 cup; High Activity: 3 3/4 cup
50 kg (110 lb): Normal Activity: 4 1/4 cup; High Activity: 4 3/4 cup
GROWTH AND REPRODUCTION (refer to High Activity column): Puppy size: up to 50% of predicted adult body weight, provide 2 X the adult amount for current weight. Puppy size: 50-80% of predicted adult body weight, provide 1.75 X the adult amount for current weight. Puppy size: 80-100% of predicted adult body weight, provide 1.25 X the adult amount for current weight. For Gestation provide 1.25 to 1.5 X the adult amount, and for Lactation provide 1.5 to 4.5 X the adult amount (depending on litter size and week of lactation).
TRANSITIONING TO NUTRIENCE: It is important to gradually transition your dog from one food to another. Start with a proportion of 25% Nutrience to 75% old food. Slowly change the proportions over the next 7 to 10 days by gradually increasing the amount of Nutrience and decreasing the amount of the old food.
